This beautifully felted fleece rug has been handmade from the wool of a Jacob sheep, a traditional and rare British breed known for its striking multi-horned appearance and naturally coloured fleece. Jacob wool is prized for its characterful mix of soft creams, browns, and darker markings, making every piece truly one of a kind.

The fleece has been carefully hand-felted by our guest felter, preserving the natural texture, warmth, and durability of the wool while creating a practical and decorative rug. Measuring approximately 47 × 21 inches, it’s ideal for draping over a chair or bench, using as a bedside or hearth rug, or simply enjoying as a tactile natural accent in your home.

As with all handmade, natural wool products, no two rugs are ever the same—this piece celebrates the individuality of the sheep and the craftsmanship of traditional felting techniques.
