Absolutely stunning large rug… This rug has so many colours in it from shades of brown to lilac and creams. It is a very large heavy weight rug and would be suitable for all kind of interiors and uses. This rug is made by guest felter Karolina Begier. Karolina makes rugs in her spare time. Her rug are all handmade in Hertfordshire where Karolina buys all her own fleeces most of which are hand picked. She only works with high quality fleeces as you can see from the pictures. Each fleece has been purchased for a very good price paid to the person who owns the sheep which means the process has provided support to the flock from which the fleece came from. The fleece is spotless and Karolina spends hours removing any hay seeds that may be embedded in the fibres. We are so happy to support Karolina in her work that we only take a small admin fee for selling the rug and Karolina gets the profit for all the hard work that has gone into the making of this Felted Fleece Rug. By buying this rug you are helping support this wonderful work by Karolina and in return you also have a wonderful handmade cruelty free rug. For details on the rug see below…
